What comes after Kit's movie?

It is my personal hope we will see a movie for each doll. Whether they make a best friend or not for all, I don't care, but I want to see movies for them all. After reading all the Meet books, I can honestly say that I love the characters of Kaya and Josefina and would like to see them get more attention. A movie will market all the dolls very well, even if the character doesn't get a friend doll.

And to be honest, I will be a little offended if the movies stop after Molly. Four white girls. Way to teach the beauty of other cultures and ethnicites! Now more then ever we need to teach children the beauty in diversity and to respect people's belief and practices. I think opening them up to new cultures (hispanic, AA, American Indian) would be a wonderful thing and truly carrying out the meaning of American Girl!

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Mare, I totally agree with you! In fact, I'm rather put off that they're doing 4 white girls before ANY of the other ethnicities! They SHOULD be doing Addy after Kit, and then Molly, and then Josefina, and then Kirsten, and Kaya last.

There is also the possibility, down the line of SAMANTHA 2 and other sequels to the movies made already. I'm hoping(after they've done some of the other charachters) that they do a sequel to the Samantha movie with Agnes and Agatha in it, whether they make dolls for them or not.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">I definitely agree! Especially since Addy has by far the best books, it would be stupid for them to not make a movie for her.

I also agree with the possibility that there could be sequels - more like springtime movies. But do you think they'd use different actresses? By the time they finish giving every doll her movie, Annasophia Robb would probably be around 20!

no i guess if they did that they'd use different girls, i would not like that though, i think they should be the same girl...

They could not make a movie with Agnes and Agatha because in the first movie they made it like Agatha is just Cornelie's little neice who's a lot younger than Samantha.

I think Addy and Kirsten have good stories for movies, but Molly is probably the most relevant right now with having a war.
